Northern California Rugby boasts one of the strongest club rugby regions in the nation. The NCRFU has club teams participating on the Mens Elite Pacific Rugby Premiership (PRP), Women's Premiership League (WPL), Mens DI, DII and DIII as well as Women's DII. This season, NCRFU supports a revised Mens DIV league.

 

Traditionally one of the powerhouse unions in the US, the Northern California is home to numerous national champions in the various divisions.

This season, in partnership with Southern California Rugby (SCRFU), sees the reintroduction of the California Cup across all divisions. The California Cup is the State Championship Grand Final where the NCRFU Champion takes on the SCRFU Champion to determine an overall state-based senior rugby Champion.
